Children are small for such a short time. For this reason clothing should reflect the natural curiosity, whimsy and charm of the wee ones who wear them. On more than one occasion I have encountered a little boy or girl dressed beyond his/her years. Recently, I was astonished to meet a pre-teen girl wearing a very low cut blouse. There was really nothing more than a flat chest showing. But, why is it necessary that this little girl dress provocatively?

By status we fall into the category of orphans; neither parents walk the earth drawing breath, or lean on a cane before us. We watched their painful departures, thirteen years apart; not time enough between our father's battle with his own gruesome illness after he had courageously reinforced mother's every step with his sturdy, unwavering ones.

To ask, "What is the purpose of life?" is to presume upon the possibility that life's purpose does not vary from person to person. The purpose for living is the same for a child as an adult. There is no variance in regards to socio-economic backgrounds. This supposition posed by the query is supported by the Westminster Shorter Catechism.
